Happiness levels in Derbyshire are on the up

Happiness levels are on the rise in Derbyshire, new Government research has revealed.

Some 74.3 per cent of Derbyshire folk were either very or completely happy with life in 2013/14 – a score higher than Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire.

The county’s happiness figures have increased from 72 per cent the year before, according to the Office for National Statistics data.
