Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has been shortlisted for a national Health Business Award for Hospital Security.
The Trust has been shortlisted from national entries for the Hospital Security Award, a result of our efforts to significantly reduce crime over the past four years and the work that has been done to promote this.
The awards recognise excellence and best practice within the NHS.
Shaun McCartney, security management specialist, said: “The delivery of a safe and secure environment is a priority for the trust as it ensures our staff can deliver the highest possible standards of care without the disruption crime causes. We focus on both maintaining and improving our security whilst working in partnership with our local police force to address security management issues.
“Being shortlisted for a health business award is a great achievement and further highlights the continuous hard work that goes into keeping our sites secure and our staff and patients protected.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony taking place on Thursday, December 8 at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium.
