MORE than 300 walkers enjoyed a rare glimmer of sunshine as they took on the Chatsworth Walk.
On Sunday, September 24, hikers chose from a four, seven or 10 mile route around the Chatsworth Estate to raise an impressive £22,000 towards the work of the British Heart Foundation.
BHF event organiser Hannah Carling said: “It was a brilliant day and, as we were lucky enough to avoid wet weather, everyone had a great time.
“I would like to thank everyone who took part, our volunteers and all those who supported their friends and families. I would urge that people send in their sponsorship as soon as possible to help us to continue to beat heart disease together.”
