High Peak MP back trans-Pennine route
High Peak MP Andrew Bingham recently attended a meeting about the government’s trans-Pennine study, which will include the A57 and the A628.
He said: “The study will do its work and hopefully report in time for the autumn statement. Local residents can be assured that I will be keeping a very close eye on this study as I see it as an opportunity to make some real progress on an issue that has been unresolved for far too long.”
