“Brimington Care Centre is a residential home for those living with dementia and connecting with our local schools and groups is so important.
“It really is a sight to behold when the children visit, something so simple can bring so much happiness to our residents.” The care home has started a penpal club with the school and have already received 15 letters to reply to. Carrie-Ann added: “I think it’s great that school children and care home residents are connecting.
“Every school should follow Hollingwood Primary School’s lead.”
