Fire crews were called to the incident Crews from Alfreton, Matlock and Ashfield attended the scene in Alfreton Road, Westhouses, at 5.40pm yesterday (Monday, April 16).
Crews used cutting equipment to free the adult horse which was moved to safety and left in the care of its owner and vet.
