Indicated a guilty plea to possessing a quantity of cannabis, a controlled class B drug. No separate penalty. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating. Must pay £200 compensation. Committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 12 months with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and 180 hours of unpaid work.

Craig Anthony Dickson, 31, of Thorntree Court, Birchwood, Chesterfield. Admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed after release from imprisonment by failing to attend with the responsible officer. Fined £60.

Jason Lee Lyttle, 31, of Lightwood Close, Marsh Lane, Eckington. Found guilty of pursuing conduct which amounted to the harassment of someone which he knew or ought to have known amounted to harassment between January, 2018, and February, 2018 by attending her address and causing distress. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge and £620 costs. Committed to prison for 20 weeks suspended for 18 months and the defendant must comply during the supervision period with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement for up to a maximum of 20 days. He also received a restraining order to last until October 15, 2019.

Shane Lee Rich, 35, of Selwyn Street, Bolsover. Found guilty of stealing garden items. Fined £120 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £310 costs.

Motoring

James Robert Warner, 33, of Pullman Close, Staveley. Pleaded guilty to keeping a vehicle which was unlicensed on a public road. Fined £66 and ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of £90.84.

James Lilley, 39, of Central Drive, Wingerworth, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to keeping a vehicle which was unlicensed on a road. Fined £150 and must pay a vehicle excise back duty of £31.67 and £40 costs.
