Drugs

Robert Bower, 41, of Prospect Road, Old Whittington, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to producing six cannabis plants regarded as a controlled class B drug. Fined £110 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £180 courts charges.

Motoring

Ann Edna Flanagan, 61, of Jura Avenue, Ripley. Pleaded guilty to exceeding the alcohol drink-drive limit. Fined £195 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 courts charge. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Wayne Wheeldon, 29, of Hunloke Road, Holmewood, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle and failed to report the accident to police. Fined £160 and must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with five points.

Theft

Garry Newton, 45, of No Fixed Abode. Pleaded guilty to stealing aftershave. Pleaded guilty to stealing two razor blades. Must pay an £80 victim surcharge and a £150 courts charge. Admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed after a release from prison in that he committed another offence breaching his licence condition. Committed to prison for 18 weeks.

Kizzy Romany Horden, 30, of Macclesfield Road, Buxton. Found guilty to stealing a bicycle. Found guilty of dishonestly undertaking or assisting in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of stolen goods namely hair straighteners and an air pistol. Pleaded guilty to two counts of failing to surrender to custody. Committed to prison for ten weeks suspended for 12 months with a rehabilitation activity requirement.

Tyrone Carl Walker, 23, of Boythorpe Crescent, Boythorpe, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing a crate of Fosters lager belonging to Tesco Extra, in Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Community order to last until September 20, 2016, with 80 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £26 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs and a £150 court charge.

Daniel Richard Clark, 22, of No Fixed Abode. Pleaded guilty to stealing two boxes of chocolates valued at £9.20 belonging to Spar. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Community order to last until September 21, 2016, with a thinking skills programme, rehabilitation activity requirement and 40 hours of unpaid work.
