Sarah Amy Smith, 32, of Willows Avenue, Alfreton. Pleaded guilty to stealing candle sets, jeans, boots and razors. Must pay a £20 victim surcharge. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody after being released on bail. To be detained at the court house but detention at courthouse deemed served by time already spent in custody.

Robert Wood, 40, of Kipling Road, Newbold, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to stealing meat valued at £58.79 belonging to Lidl. Committed to prison for four weeks. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Liann Norman, 38, of Chapel Road, Grassmoor, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing a large amount of food, household items and alcohol valued at £236.49 belonging to Morrisons Supermarkets. Admitted committing an offence during the operational period of a suspended custodial sentence order for possessing class A drugs, three thefts and for failing to surrender to custody. Must pay £79 compensation and a £36 victim surcharge. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody having been released on bail. No separate penalty. Committed an offence while subject to a suspended sentence order for assaulting a police constable. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences of theft which were subject to the suspended sentence order including stealing two baby milks valued at £22 belonging to One Stop, stealing seven bottles of washing liquid valued at £28 belonging to Tesco Express and stealing a Morphy Richards Blender valued at £19.99 belonging to Boyes store. Committed to prison for 28 weeks.

Admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements after release from imprisonment by failing to attend with a supervising officer. Committed to prison for six weeks.

Must pay £792.50. Committed fraud by making a false representation namely presenting a fraudulent cheque intending to make a gain of £1,680. Committed to prison for 17 weeks suspended for 12 months.

Kimberley Rachel Cross, 25, of Hucklow Avenue, North Wingfield, Chesterfield. Admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend with a responsible officer. Order varied with a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement for up to 25 days and to carry out 90 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £60 costs.

Stephen Alan Eckhardt, 28, of Norwood Place, Killamarsh. Failed to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend with a responsible officer.
