The latest draft of the Derbyshire Dales Local Plan will be discussed by councillors on Wednesday next week ahead of another round of public consultation.
After working through feedback from a recent six-week consultation, the district council’s local plan advisory committee will meet at County Hall, Matlock, on July 27 at 6pm to agree on an updated pre-submission draft.
The final version of the plan will guide local development in the Dales up to the year 2033.
Any member of the public wishing to speak at the meeting must notify the council no later than noon on Tuesday July 26 by calling 01629 761133 or emailing email@example.com.
The district council’s constitution limits public participation to a maximum of one hour, with individual slots limited to three minutes - or less depending on demand.
The agenda for the meeting is available to view on the district council’s website at www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/committee.
A meeting of the full council will follow at 6pm on August 8 at County Hall to give councillors an opportunity to comment on the pre-submission draft.
An online consultation, available from August 11 to September 22, will be supported by public meetings on August 16 at Ashbourne’s Elim Pentecostal Church and on August 22 at Highfields School, Matlock. Both start at 7pm.
