A MATLOCK woman is to take to the streets of London this weekend for the marathon to raise funds for a cause close to her heart.
Sue Bulley is aiming to pull in the pounds for muscular dystrophy – a condition her father has suffered from for nearly 40 years.
Running the 26-mile challenge for the first time, a spokesperson for the former Highfields pupil said: “Sue’s not expecting to do a fast time as training has been really difficult - three young children including a baby that won’t sleep through the night, and a full-time job!”
She has so far raised over £600 and is looking for more sponsors.
