A MAN has been jailed for two years for stealing a car from a dealership and making off from a petrol station without paying.
Dean Beeching was sentenced to two years for burgling Bakewell Motors on December 13 last year, stealing a vehicle from the site and filling it with fuel at the Ripley branch of Sainsbury’s later that morning, without paying.
A BMW, Land Rover Discovery and a Mitsubishi Shogun were stolen from the firm, in Haddon Road, Bakewell.
The BMW and the Shogun were then driven to Sainsbury’s and filled up.
Beeching, 21, of Mosswood Crescent, Nottingham, pleaded guilty to all three offences. He was sentenced at Derby Crown Court on Thursday, January 19.
