Man who died when he was hit by train was 22-year-old from Stapleford
British Transport Police have confirmed that a man who died after being hit by a train in Long Eaton was a 22-year-old from Stapleford.
The incident happened on the morning of Wednesday February 4 at Long Eaton train station, leading to delays in services.
The spokesman said he would not be named until an inquest had been opened. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
His family have been informed.
