Chesterfield magistrates’ court heard how Jamie Roper, 21, of Cromford Road, Wirksworth, was spotted allegedly urinating in the street.

Becky Mahon, prosecuting, said Roper was twice advised to move on by police before the Crown pub said a drunken man had become aggressive and Roper was found shouting and being disorderly outside the pub.

Felicity Clarke, defending, said Roper had only been involved in a slight disturbance.

Roper, who had been bound over to keep the peace on a separate matter, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly and magistrates fined him £34 and ordered him to pay £85 costs, a £20 victim surcharge and £50 for breaching his peace order.
