A man who collapsed and died at a Derbyshire music festival has been named on social media as Ju Woodward.

Friends paid tributes to Mr Woodward – who owned 666 Body Piercing, in Matlock Bath – on Facebook after police revealed that a man had collapsed and died at the Rock and Blues Old School Weekender Festival in Pentrich at the weekend.

It is understood that Mr Woodward had very recently married and was attending the festival for his honeymoon.

He was taken to hospital on Saturday at 4.25pm but he later died, a Derbyshire police spokesman said.

The circumstances of Mr Woodward’s death have not been revealed, but police said it is not being treated as suspicious.

It is understood that the motorbike lover married his wife Princess Woodward at a ceremony at Mansfield Register Office in June, and had moved to the Matlock area from Mansfield.
