MATLOCK: Men charged in connection with two knife-related incidents

Tom Stones, 18, of Jackson Tor Road, Matlock, has been charged with wounding with intent in connection with an attack on a 28-year-old man near Hall Leys Park, in Causeway Lane, on Saturday.

In addition, he was charged with possession of a knife and with causing actual bodily harm after a 26-year-old man was assaulted in the park on August 3. He suffered a cut to his arm.

Harry Stones, 20, of Manor Oaks Gardens, Sheffield, has been charged with causing actual bodily harm to the 26-year-old and having an offensive weapon in public.

The pair will appear before magistrates in Chesterfield today.
