All are invited to the free jam-packed family fun day at Matlock’s Hall Ley’s Park to celebrate the Cafe in the Park’s 15th birthday.

Cafe owner Kate Lane said the event is to thank all the customers who have supported the business all these years.
The 43-year-old mum of two said: “It’s just to thank the community for all their support in the past 15 years. A lot of businesses have come and gone but we’ve remained and its down to them.
“The theme this year is superheros so kids can make superhero masks and we will behaving iron man, superman, batman and friends along.”
Kate started her first business in 2010 having never after a career in manufacture and marketing of children’s toys.
She added: “When I was made redundant I decided to buy a little kiosk in Matlock.
“It was a very small takeaway kiosk when it started, with just treats and drinks, and we’ve just grown. Five years ago we renovated the inside of the cafe, we’ve spent a lot of time to improve the business and now we’ve got a much bigger homemade menu, and now we’ve got a lot of regular customers who come in rain or shine.
