Matlock police issue CCTV still of man after phone box is burned out

Police in Matlock have released a CCTV still of a man they want to speak to in connection with a suspected arson attack in the town.

At about 3.30pm on Saturday, a man set fire to a bag of rubbish inside a phone box near to the train station on Station Yard.

It is believed he stayed in the Station Yard area until about 8am when he left towards the town centre.

Officers investigating the damage are appealing to anyone who may have any information, or who recognises the man in the CCTV image, to contact them.
