Money-saving solar power

Bolsover District Council is doing its bit for the environment as they install solar panels onto the roof of its offices in Clowne and hope to save over £34,000 of taxpayers’ money every year.

The 50kw system will power offices at the Arc.

It aims to save about 482 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions over 20 years.
