Mountain rescue teams help injured walker from Sheffield

Mountain rescue team volunteers helped a man from Sheffield who suffered an ankle injury when he slipped while walking in Castleton.

Members of the Buxton and Edale teams responded to calls about the incident near Mam Farm, Castleton, on Wednesday.

The 69-year-old casualty said he slipped on a muddy path.

He was carried on a stretcher to an ambulance and driven to hospital for treatment.
