Music festival hits the right note with Peak charities
Following the success of February’s Buxton Rocks music event at the Pavilion Gardens, the organisers held Buxton Mini Rocks at Trunk bar on Bank Holiday Monday May 5.
Bands gave their time for free to perform at the all-day event, which raised £342.50 for the Grapevine Wellbeing Centre, with a similar amount being donated to support Love Eilish, Blythe House and Target Ovarian Cancer.

“It was a fantastic day, and we’d like to say a big thank-you to everyone who supported us, especially the bands and the venue.”
Chris also added his thanks to sponsors Khomkai Thai Cuisine, A-Z Taxis and BT Minshull Building and Joinery. The event was also supported by a £200 donation by Steven Nash.
The Buxton Rocks music festival returns in March 2015.
