New scheme rewards Derbyshire Dales people who recycle
Eco-conscious Dales residents are getting an extra incentive to keep recycling.
As part of a continuing project to encourage people to recycle more, every week a Dales household – selected at random – will win £25 if their recycling and food containers are being properly used.
Derbyshire Dales District Council is also introducing a grant scheme to help community groups promote local neighbourhood and environmental improvements.
