Better bin
I CAN’T believe the letters regarding the new blue bins – what are Chesterfield council thinking?
I am in NE Derbyshire council area and we have a burgundy bin which is for the same use as the blue bin, but we can put our cardboard in the bottom (larger) part of the bin, along with the glass, cans and plastic.
Therefore, just paper in the top tray – plenty of room then for everything. We think it’s brilliant.
Get on to your council and complain, if another council can do what ours do, why not all of them?
