Peak District hike in aid of Derbyshire’s air ambulance

Intrepid trekkers will embark on a hike across the Peak District National Park to raise money for a lifesaving service.

Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance is looking for more people to take part in their 24-mile White Peak Challenge on Friday May 15.

Starting on the outskirts of Buxton, the two-day challenge will pass through seven of the most beautiful dales in the national park, ascending a total of 1,400ft.

The event costs £75, including food and transport to walks, or £169 with accommodation. Participants are suggested to raise £250, not including event costs.
