Two transport provided have linked up to make travel in the Peaks easier.

Peak Rail has teamed up with High Peak Buses to launch a new joint ticket, which offers unlimited travel on Transpeak bus services and Peak Rail heritage trains.

The new ‘Twin Peak’ family ticket is available from Transpeak bus drivers and is valid on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between April and September.

For £33, a family of two adults and two children can enjoy a day’s unlimited travel on Transpeak services between Manchester, Buxton, Matlock and Derby and on Peak Rail trains between Matlock and Rowsley South via Darley Dale.

The Transpeak bus service operates hourly between Derby and Buxton with some journeys continuing through to Manchester.

All of Peak Rail’s stations are also served by Transpeak buses, offering passengers a variety of interchange points.
