“Her hair is really long at the moment and I always call her my little Rapunzel.
“We decided to not just donate Persephonie’s hair but also to set up a JustGiving page so people could donate.

Persephonie is now booked in for her transformational hair cut on March 25 at Harleys Hairdressing, on Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield.
Her family, including dad Jono, mum Rachel and brother Gabriel, will be supporting Persephonie on the day.
She says: “My hair makes me happy and I want to make some one else happy, and I think they deserve to smile so please help as well by donating as little or as much as possible.”
