Hide AdAlfie Fairest, of Bakewell Town FC, said: “It’s a crying shame to see this happen.
“We’re a good club and here for the boys and girls of Bakewell so this vandalism is really disappointing.
“We will get it repaired in the next few weeks but this could cost anything between £50 and £200.
“Times are tough at the moment and there are definitely better things we could be spending that money on.

Another said: “This is terrible. I know how hard you all work for Bakewell Town FC and the commitment you all show representing Bakewell. What a mindless act of vandalism.”
