The mystery gambler placed a 10-fold accumulator where he was given odds of 23,496/1.

The man correctly guessed each outcome of all 10 games, but only realised his eye-watering 23,496/1 bet came in 10 days later, The Sun reports.

The gambler bet on £5 on a 10-fold accumulator with Paddy Power- where he tipped Cardiff to beat Manchester United for the first time since 1954.

His winning slip earned him an incredible £117,485.16.

He also guessed that Manchester City would win away at Brighton to secure the Premier League title, while Liverpool would win against Wolves.

Other correct selections include Arsenal beating Burnley at Turf Moor, West Ham to win away at Watford, Newcastle to beat Fulham at Craven Cottage and Crystal Palace to edge out Bournemouth.

While he also predicted three draws, as Spurs were held to a point against Everton at home, Chelsea drew away at Leicester and Southampton failed to get the better of Huddersfield.

A spokesman for Paddy Power told The Sun: "Like finding a winning lottery ticket down the back of the sofa, this punter hadn’t realised he was over £117,000 richer from an accumulator he had on the last day of the season.

“He predicted the result of every game, including a loss for United against Cardiff, which in hindsight could’ve been the most obvious of the lot.

"But he didn’t find out until 10 days after the event!
