Watch Derbyshire yob suffer agonsing instant karma after kicking road sign

The lout was caught on CCTV with three friends walking on a grass verge when he booted the hinged board.

The 2ft-high sign sprung back and smashed the yob in the leg who was sent stumbling to the ground.

Footage shows the man hopping on one foot before collapsing in agony as his pals carried on walking.

After several minutes the vandal was helped to his feet and he limped away.

Further up the road, another sign dedicated to the NHS was also attacked.

The bizarre incidents took place outside Lemon Signs Ltd, on Alfreton Road, Derby last Tuesday (May 26) during the evening.

Managing director Marin Lemiesz said: “It was a brainless act but instant karma caught up with him pretty fast.

“I think he was expected the sign to fall over but it just sprang back and hit him.

“He was clearly in a lot of pain and was hopping around in agony. I’m afraid he got what was coming to him.

“What unfuriates me more is that they destroyed a metal signs celebrating the NHS.

“This is not acceptable behaviour.”

Since posting the footage of the incident on Facebook, the thug has been mocked mercilessly.

Derbyshire Police say they are appealing for anyone who knows the lout to contact them on the non-emergency 101 number.
