Pets rescued from Unstone house fire

Firefighters rescued several pets from a house fire this afternoon.

Crews from Dronfield and Chesterfield attended the property in Main Road, Unstone, where there was a kitchen fire in a detached property.

The crews put out the fire, measuring approximately ten metres by ten metres, and saved several animals from the blaze.

They ventilated the property and left the scene at 2.10pm.
