The Matlock Carnival brought hundreds through town in what may have been its busiest year yet – what were your highlights of the funfair and family bonanza?
Hundreds flocked to Matlock over the weekend of July 25-26 as the Maazi Matlock Carnival went down a storm in Hall Leys Park.
The weather largely held up on the Saturday, and Sunday saw the first Music in the Park event with a host of live acts to entertain the town.
Kids loved the climbing wall, archery and fun house, and were greeted by superheroes and Disney princesses.
The arts and crafts fair had everything on offer from plants to upcycled handbags, but our highlight had to be the cheese seller, with his incredible artisan cheddar – “Everybody who tries it, buys it.!”
