Bradwell village started their annual week-long gala on Saturday with a fun-filled family carnival.
The carnival, organised by Bradwell Parish Council, saw a variety of events from five-a-side football to a colourful parade.
Along with many other traditions, young royalty from surrounding villages wore their best outfits and attended the carnival in style.
Paul Downing, chair of Bradwell Parish Council, said: “I honestly believe it was the best carnival yet.
“There was such a great turn out this year. It is very important to me that all the villagers get involved as it is a great way of engaging the community.”
The carnival also had collections for Macmillan Cancer Support, local schools and Mountain Rescue.
Today, Bradwell will host a family treasure hunt followed by a street fair along with other activities throughout the week before closing the event on Saturday with a comedy night in the Parish hall.
