A SPOOK-TASTIC time was had by all when a village playgroup hosted a Hallowe’en party.
Around 70 children and their families attended the event at Holloway Playgroup, which is held in the village hall.
Youngsters donned an array of scary costumes including witches, vampires and black cats.
The event included a fancy-dress competition, a carved-pumpkin contest, apple bobbing and a spine-chilling stall.
Children also had a chance to get terrifying tattoos.
A raffle was held as well as a variety of party games and dancing.
The party also included a barbecue and hot soup fuelled the fun, along with creepy cakes and a witch’s brew.
Adults also got in to the spooky spirit of things by dressing up.
All proceeds went to Holloway Playgroup.
Natasha Robertson, vice chairman of the Holloway Playgroup, said: “It was a monster success and great fun was had by all.”
The playgroup is open Monday to Friday from 9.15am to 12.15pm.
