Police appeal after cars and caravan are damaged in Derbyshire

Police are appealing for information after damage was caused to two vehicles in Staveley with a substance believed to be paint stripper.

Between 4pm on Sunday and 9.25am on Monday, offenders caused substantial damage to a maroon coloured Kia Sedona and a caravan.

Both vehicles were parked on the driveway of a property on Lime Avenue.

Anyone with any information, or who may have seen someone acting suspiciously around the time of the incident, is asked to contact PCSO Sue Cooke on 101, quoting crime number 45444/14.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a vehicle was damaged in Hathersage.

Overnight between 6.30pm on Saturday and 10.15am on Sunday, offenders caused damage to the nearside rear door of a grey coloured Ford Focus.

The vehicle, which was parked on Jaggers Lane, had been scratched with an unknown sharp instrument.
