POLICE are continuing to appeal for witnesses after a 16 year-old boy lost his life after a collision between two vehicles.
Teenager Connor Short, of Ashover, had been a passenger in a silver-coloured Peugeot 206 on Birkin Lane, near Ashover, before it was involved in a collision with a blue Vauxhall Corsa travelling along the A632 Matlock Road, about 11.10pm, on Thursday, September 20.
Two others in the Peugeot, including the driver, were taken to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, for treatment. Two male occupants in the Corsa were taken to Chesterfield Royal Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
