Police arrest five after pub burglary
Police have arrested five people in connection with a burglary at a pub on Matlock Green.
They were arrested on November 1 after officers searched a property in Netherfield Close, Matlock, in connection with the incident at the Red Lion pub on October 29.
Two women aged 28 and 24, and a 32–year–old man, all from the Matlock area, were arrested on suspicion of burglary. A 30–year–old man was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods. A 20–year–old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
All five people have been bailed pending further enquiries.
