A MEETING of the Derbyshire Police Authority to be held next Thursday, January 26, in the conference room at police headquarters, Ripley.
Members of the public may ask questions of the authority in accordance with Derbyshire Police Authority Standing Orders.
These state that a question may be asked if notice has been provided either in writing or by electronic mail addressed to the chief executive no later than midday three working days prior to the meeting. Public question time will be limited to 30 minutes, as part of the agenda.
Each question must provide the name and address of the individual asking the question and must be addressed to the chairman, through the chief executive. No person or organisation may raise more than two questions at any one meeting.
Electronic mail should be sent to email@example.com
A spokesman said: “The chief executive will endeavour to provide an answer to each question, which will be published in the minutes of the meeting. Where it is not possible to provide an immediate answer then follow up action will be taken outside the confines of the meeting.”
The meeting begins at 9.30am.
