POLICE INVESTIGATORS search for Derbyshire bus passengers after disturbance


Officers investigating an incident involving a group of men in Long Eaton are trying to trace bus passengers who may have witnessed what happened.

Police were called to reports of a disturbance on Rowsley Avenue involving a group of men, believed to be passengers from a small hatchback car at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, December 22.

A force spokesman said the men got back into the car and drove off.

A bus stopped and dropped passengers off on Beresford Avenue at around this time, near to where the altercation was taking place.

Police believe they may have seen something which could help the inquiry.
