Officers investigating a bank robbery in Hathersage have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to.

At about 9am on Thursday, February 20, an armed robbery took place at the Royal Bank of Scotland on Main Road.

Police said staff were threatened and left “terrified” and a substantial amount of money was stolen. The men left the bank via the main entrance at 9.05am and made off along Main Road towards the Natwest Bank.

The British Bank Association is offering a £15,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the offenders and the Royal Bank of Scotland is offering a £10,000 reward.
