Proposal to move Baslow Post Office

The Post Office is consulting on plans to move its Baslow branch in a bid to create a modern open–plan facility.

The proposal is to move the Baslow Post Office from its current location at Church Cottage, in Church Street, to create a more modern open-plan branch with extended opening hours for customers at the Spar store, in School Lane.

As part of Post Office plans to modernise the network and extend the opening hours for customers the new branch will operate from a Post Office serving point at the retail counter.

Opening hours at the new location would be 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 8pm Sunday.

During the public consultation Post Office Ltd welcomes feedback on any issues customers would like considered before a final decision is taken on this proposal. The consultation will close December 5.
