Campaigners opposing NHS reforms will be marching through the streets of Wirksworth on Saturday.
Action group SOS NHS, formed in the town this month in protest at Government plans to overhaul the Health Service.
The march will start at Hannage Brook Medical Centre at 11.45am. It will proceed along Water Lane, up to St John’s Street and then to Wirksworth Market Place for 12 noon.
People attending the march, will be encouraged to register their views which will then be passed on to Dales MP Patrick McLoughlin.
Over 200 people attended a meeting in the town earlier this month which led to the action group being formed.
A spokesman for the group said the were hoping for a similar turn out as concern was growing in the town over the future of the Health Service.
