Schoolchildren will be waving flags in time for Matlock Bath’s Royal Wedding party.
Pupils at Matlock Bath’s Holy Trinity Primary School made decorations in honour of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Their decorations will be used to decorate Temple Walk, which will be closed for the Royal Wedding celebrations.
Organiser Sue Sunderland set up a committee with support from Matlock Bath Holy Trinity Church, businesses and schools and people have taken on responsibilities and made donations for the party, which takes place from 1pm on the wedding day.
As well as the school’s decorations, one company is producing commemorative mugs and Matlock Bath Parish Council is funding a hog-roast.
