The Devonshire Arms at Pilsley will be celebrating the royal wedding in true Derbyshire fashion – over a beer.
The inaugural Pilsley Beer Festival will be held outside the pub to run alongside the Pilsley street party.
The festival will have an array of 20 beers from Derbyshire’s best breweries including Peak Ales, Thornbridge, Buxton Brewery, Whim Ales and Brampton Brewery.
The Devonshire Arms’ chef Alan Hill will be manning the barbecue for the day and there will also be a competition and children’s entertainment in the village.
Entry costs just £5 and includes three beer tokens and a special souvenir glass.
Entry is free for children.
