Ready, steady, read for Tansley youngsters
It was ready, steady, read for youngsters at Tansley Primary School as they took part in a fundraiser organised by Usborne Books at Home.
Children in years one to six read as many books as possible, and the children in reception listened to as many books as possible in one week, being sponsored by their friends and families.
The children were very enthusiastic and excited and were up for the challenge and managed to raise £608. Usborne organiser Beth O’Donovan delivered three big boxes of books to the school as part of a celebration ceremony to say thank you on November 4. For more call Beth on 07546421253.
