One hundred bell ringers descended on Bakewell to take part in a world record attempt.
Bakewell Parish Church hosted the event to celebrate 100 years of the Ringing World publication.
Ringers from across the county rang bells for 100 minutes at the church’s historic eight bell tower.
Visitors were invited to come and listen, find out more about bell ringing and have a go themselves.
Roger Lawson, who was involved with the event said: “People came from far and wide and were able to sit out on the grass listening to the bells. Overall, a memorable day and I’m proud to have been a part of it.”
Organisers are waiting for verification to see if their efforts set a new world record.
