REMEMBRANCE: Where you can honour the fallen in Matlock this week

Matlock residents will pause and remember those who have lost their lives in conflict this week.

Services will take place on Friday (Armistice Day) and Sunday (Remembrance Sunday).

Here’s the details of the services in the Matlock area.

Armistice Day

Matlock - informal gathering at Park Head at 11am.

Remembrance Sunday

Services will take place at Pic Tor war memorial at 11am and at Starkholmes war memorial at 11.30am. The parade will assemble on Edgefold Road at 2.30pm, marching out to Park Head at 2.50pm.

Darley Dale - residents and Darley Dale Brass Band will assemble at 2.15pm and parade from Broadwalk to the war memorial in Whitworth Park for a service at 3pm.
