Repair cafe's fixers give a new lease of life to broken goods
'We're not going to change the world and stop all this stuff going to landfill but it's a demonstration to people that maybe something needs to be done about our throwaway society,' said Margaret Hersee.
She is part of Transition Chesterfield and co-ordinator of its Repair Café where a team of seven fixers mend household appliances, clothing and furniture.
