REVEALED: Top speeding location in Matlock

More than 200 people were caught speeding in Matlock over the last 12 months.

A Freedom of Information request to Derbyshire Constabulary revealed that 277 drivers were caught going over the limit on roads in the area.

The offences took place in just two locations - both with a 30 mph speed limit.

On the A632, 30 speedy drivers were caught going over the limit.

But the most notorious speeding spot in Matlock, which caught 113 people in just 12 months, is the B5023 Wirksworth.
