BUDDING chefs will soon get the chance to add some spice to their cooking as culinary experts launch a series of master classes.

First on the Tideswell School of Food’s menu is Alan Hill, Chef Patron of the Devonshire Arms at Beeley, on Thursday 16 August .

Alan will be sharing culinary tips and secrets from some of his signature dishes at the Devonshire Arms.

On Sunday October 7, Rupert Rowley, Head of Fischers in Baslow, will teach those in attendance how to create a dinner party menu to a Michelin star standard.

In 2001 Rupert braved the kitchens of Gordon Ramsey at his flagship 3 star Michelin restaurant in London.

These cookery master classes are designed for the enthusiastic home cook who is looking to build on their skills and cookery knowledge and explore new methods and techniques.
