A PRIMARY school is celebrating after landing a ‘good’ rating from Ofsted inspectors.
Middleton Primary School was praised for the children’s attainment, behaviour and the “friendly but industrious” atmosphere. The inspector said activities such as breakfast club and gardening added to the pupils’ experience.
Headteacher Sarah I’Anson said: “Despite major building work this term the school has secured a very pleasing result.
“The report acknowledged the enthusiasm. The future looks bright, with our exciting new building and the development of the school’s woodland area.”
A new infants class is being built and there are hopes to move pupils in next month.
